Position Title

Project Engineer
Description

This role is to support the Senior Project Manager with the planning, executing and overseeing of engineering projects. Role based onsite at our newly renovated Pilot Plant Facility in Alexandria, Sydney.

Responsibilities
  • Completion of tasks from clients, contractors and suppliers
  • Procurement activities, including the commercial and technical evaluation of orders
  • Manage and control logistics and associated paperwork
  • Contribute to the preparation of design schedules and the implementation of effective document control as directed, ensuring alignment with company procedures and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Assisting with project management from project set up, engineering, fabrication to supply, construction and commissioning.
  • Assist the project in setting up Quality Assurance and Quality Control checks to meet Project requirements and in accordance with Australian standards.
  • Contractual and risk management activities
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and models
  • Assist with technical designs and engineering as required
  • Manage engineers, Lab technicians and various stakeholders
  • Assist with the completion of reports and data analysis for designs completed for the project.
  • Ability to travel to sites and suppliers as required.
Qualifications
  • Experience in working with complicated engineering projects - Battery metals a big plus
  • CAD software experience
  • Bachelor degree in engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver under deadlines.
  • Experience with a broad range of engineering disciplines and EPC experience
  • PE with 5+ years of experience in an industrial processing and manufacturing role
