Laboratory and pilot plant work inside the R&D team, alongside the Research Scientists, the R&D Operations Manager and the CTO. The role runs the experiments that refine the Novalith Process and develop the science behind it.
- Run laboratory tests and experiments supporting the lithium-recovery process
- Help design and set up reactor systems, gas handling and concentration rigs
- Analyze characterization and experimental data, and keep the records behind it
- Degree in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, metallurgy or physics
- Two years in a chemical, metallurgical or minerals laboratory, with GLP and WHS

A standing expression of interest rather than a live vacancy. We are always glad to hear from experienced process engineers who could join the Project Delivery Team developing the Alexandria pilot plant and guiding the engineering behind the Novalith Process.
- Scope projects from mass and energy balance through to commissioning
- Produce the core process design documentation for chemical plant projects
- Run Aspen and HYSYS simulation alongside first-principles calculation
- Hydromet, pyromet, lithium extraction or acid leach experience highly regarded
- Crystallization, fluidized bed and RO/IX design an advantage
